Local Lib Dem parties around the country are having discussions to feed their views and policy ideas into the Mid Term Review. The Review is looking at the Coalition Agreement, identifying gaps and considering how these can be filled with distinctive Lib Dem Policies. The Review reports in September 2012 but we have a chance to have our input as a Borough in March.

There are a number of Policy Motions tabled for Spring Conference in Gateshead that feed into the Mid Term Review, on the following issues: British Policing - Civil Liberties - Europe - Making Tax Fairer - Public and Private Sector Pensions - The Greenest Government Ever - Youth Unemployment. Please let Rosina Robson know (rosina.robson@gmail.com) if you're interested in coming so she has an idea of numbers and also highlight which of the motions/issues above you'd be most keen to discuss (feel free to rank in order of preference). Entry is free and open to all Lib Dem members and supporters.
