Merton Mayoral Hustings: July 20

opik paddick tuffrey mayor london• [Jul 04] Merton Lib Dems write: THE shortlist for the selection of the Liberal Democrat candidate for Mayor of London should be announced shortly. The vote will be by postal ballot. We have organised a mayoral hustings for Wednesday 20 July and invite members from other local parties to join us. We have had acceptances from Mike Tuffrey, Lembit Opik and Brian Paddick. If any other candidates emerge they will of course be invited as well.

• Details: Dundonald Congregational Church, 15 Dundonald Road, Wimbledon, SW19 3QH. Time: 7.30-9pm

The church is about 7 minutes from Wimbledon station, 1 minute from Dundonald tram stop. It would be helpful if If anyone planning to come would notify Simon McGrath so that we have an idea of numbers: simonmcgrath[at]gmail.com.
