• [Apr 07] WITH the General Election now called for 6th May, Richmond Park and North Kingston is set to be one of the most exciting races in the country.
Liberal Democrat Party President Baroness Ros Scott today (Wednesday 7th April) visited Susan Kramer's campaign headquarters to launch the local General Election campaign. Popular hardworking Liberal Democrat Susan Kramer is going head to head with the Conservatives in Richmond Park and North Kingston. The Conservatives have shocked many people by refusing to campaign to save services at Kingston Hospital. Bookmakers have ruled out Labour in the constituency with odds of 100/1. In Parliament Susan Kramer has fought for local people and taken a stand against unpopular Labour policies like Heathrow expansion and parking charges in Richmond Park. She has helped over 12,000 people since 2005.
Susan Kramer said: "Being MP for Richmond Park and North Kingston is a privilege. I have helped thousands of local residents with their problems, taking up their cases and fighting the Government on their behalf. I have been so proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with local residents to fight for the issues that matter here. We have achieved so much - Safer Neighbourhood Teams across the constituency, better doorstep recycling services, fighting Heathrow expansion and protecting green spaces. I will continue to fight to stop cuts to NHS services at Kingston Hospital, to keep improving our secondary schools and to keep our area special."
