Twickenham Riverside contract signing delayed until October

[Jul 21]: Serge Lourie writes: 'THE award of the contract for the Twickenham Riverside development has been delayed following notification from Countryside Properties Ltd that publication of their 2007/08 accounts is now anticipated in October.

I have previously made it clear that the contract award to Countryside will only proceed once I have received a full report on the company's accounts and present financial standing. This delay, while unfortunate, is I believe prudent and responsible given that public money is involved, and I am confident that this will not adversely impact on our schedule by more than a few months.'
