mortlake brewery map• Susan Kramer is holding a public meeting to discuss the future of the Stag Brewery on THURSDAY FEBRUARY 5 at 7.30 pm in the Sheen Lane Centre.

She commented: "I know this will be a really important issue for residents of Barnes, Mortlake and Sheen, and I am really keen to hear the views of the community. A representative from the company that owns the Stag Brewery will attend, as well as local councillors."

Issues for discussion include: the future of the brewery - is there a possibility that another brewery could take over the site?; if the closure goes ahead, what will happen to the site?; what will happen to the playing fields?; and what are the priorities of the community for the site?
